The criminal gang suspected of breaking into the vacation home of PSG player Marco Verratti for 2.5 million pounds had their sights set on the mansions of Argentine superstar Lionel Messi and 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal.
The police announced last week that they had detained seven people following the raid on the Ronaldo property in Ibiza that Verratti had rented for his summer vacation. Detectives made the arrests public after discovering the majority of the stolen goods after apprehending two men as they exited an Ibiza-bound auto ferry in the Costa Blanca port of Denia.
